31 Days. 120 Kilometers. One Lifeline.

This May, your sweat becomes their support.

While many of us are preparing to celebrate Mother’s Day, there are mothers in our own neighborhoods facing unimaginable hurdles. At Spectrum Mothers Support Society, we believe that to support the child, you must first support the mother. Our mission is simple but life-changing: provide preventative, hands-on care to mothers in crisis to keep families together. Because we know that strong mothers make strong communities.

The Challenge: Sea-to-Sky for Stability

We are calling on you to Step Up. Throughout the month of May, join us for a virtual trek along one of the most iconic routes in the world. Whether you are walking, running, rolling, or hiking, your movement helps bridge the gap for a family at risk.

Choose your distance and own your journey:

  • The Full Trek: Deep Cove to Whistler (120km) – The ultimate 31-day commitment.

  • The Mid-Point: Deep Cove to Squamish (65km) – Push your limits for the cause.

  • The Community Loop: Deep Cove to West Vancouver (25km) – Get moving for your neighbours.

  • The Personalized Path: Your Vision, Your Distance – You define the destination. Whether it’s 10km or 200km, set a goal that is meaningful to you and "step up" in your own way to support mothers in crisis.

Why Your Movement Matters

Every kilometer you cover and every dollar you raise goes directly into the home of a mother in need. We don't just offer advice; we provide a dedicated support person to stand in the gap, offering the practical help required to stabilize a home during a crisis.

When you join this challenge, you aren't just hitting a fitness goal—you are providing a lifeline. You are ensuring a mother has the strength to keep her children safe, healthy, and home where they belong.

How to Participate

  1. Commit: Sign up and choose your virtual destination.

  2. Move: Commit to moving every day in whatever way you love—walk the dog, hit the gym, or trek the trails.
