Alyssa joins the Spectrum Mothers Support Society board with a distinguished background in finance, strategic planning, and investment management. Currently a core member of the team at Caloah, Alyssa holds a broad mandate that includes investment decision-making, due diligence, and portfolio management. She also leads the firm’s Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) practice, overseeing accounting, tax, and internal reporting while collaborating on high-level business strategy.
Before her time at Caloah, Alyssa served as Assistant Controller at VCA Canada, where she led financial statement preparation and managed the valuation and due diligence for 35 acquisitions. She also spent six years at KPMG LLPwithin their tax and assurance departments, honing the technical skills that define her career.
Alyssa holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Calgary’s Haskayne School of Business. She is a designated Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) and holds a Chartered Business Valuator (CBV) designation. Her deep expertise in financial oversight and strategic growth ensures that Spectrum Mothers remains fiscally sound as it continues to expand its impact in the community.
