Anne Bethune brings four decades of leadership in health and community services — including 25 years of community-based Occupational Therapy — to her role as Program Director at Spectrum Mothers Support Society. Throughout her career, Anne has worked alongside individuals and families navigating complex life circumstances, always with a focus on practical support, dignity, and meaningful connection.
At Spectrum Mothers, Anne provides caregiver program leadership while working closely as part of the frontline team. She oversees the caregiver program, caregiver training and ensures that the frontline support offered to mothers is professional, responsive, and focused on the unified needs of our mothers. Anne is deeply committed to building a culture where caregivers feel confident, valued, and well-supported in the vital work they do.
In addition to her work at Spectrum Mothers, Anne is the long-time President of Vancouver Adaptive Snow Sports, where she has volunteered for over 40 years creating opportunities for people of all abilities to ski and snowboard. Her leadership and community impact have been recognized with the BC Community Achievement Award and the Tim Jones Community Achievement Award.
A proud mother of three sons, Anne brings the wisdom of lived experience to her work at Spectrum, understanding both the challenges and the extraordinary strength of motherhood.
Anne also helps people lead healthier, more balanced lives through nutrition, mentorship, and community. She finds joy and renewal in skiing, being by the sea, riding her motorcycle, and creating jewelry.
